The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of three members of staff of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria, CRIN, Idi Ayunre, Ibadan.
A statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade explained that the victims were reportedly kidnapped while inspecting crops on a farm within the institute’s premises.
Ayanlade, stated further that the Command has launched a manhunt for the perpetrators of such an evil act, as efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims safely and bring those responsible to justice.
The Command also assured the general public that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure safe release of the victims.
