The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Arusa 1, has urged Muslims across the country to watch their backs during the Eidul-Kabir festival, coming up on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Oba Ladoja gave the advice on Tuesday, in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Adeola Oloko.
While congratulating the muslim faithful across the globe on the occasion of the annual Islamic religious festival, the monarch stressed the need for everyone to be security-conscious at all times to prevent being victims of banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, among other problems confronting the country.
The first class traditional ruler said, the event celebrating the exemplary life of the holy Prophet Ibrahim, who offered his son, Ismail, as a sacrifice to God, calls for merriment.
He however called for special prayers for Nigeria to overcome the different challenges facing her, such as insecurity.
