As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections, Oyo state House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Egbeyemi Hakeem Oriyomi on Monday, obtained the African Democratic Congress Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to represent the people of Ibadan North Constituency II.
The development symbolises a new narrative in the political history of the constituency, as Oriyomi, who has been a major political stakeholder, continues to attract grassroot support for his aspiration.
Speaking after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. Oriyomi stated that his aspiration is driven by passion for youth development, quality representation, empowerment, and improved welfare for the people.
The politician pledged to bring the genuine dividends of democracy to the door steps of his constituents, if elected their representative.
He appreciated the leadership of the ADC for providing a reliable platform for aspirants seeking to contribute to national development.
Hon. Oriyomi was accompanied by the Ibadan North party chairman, Goodluck Possible, Vice chairman, ward 8, Abiodun okunola and Yeye Yetunde Ajibola.
Recall that a serving member of the state Assembly, representing Ibadan North West Constituency, Hon. Dawood Olalere, who recently dumped the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for ADC, has picked the party’s nomination form to contest the Ibadan North West/Ibadan South West Federal Constituency election in 2027.
