Recall that Mrs. John-Paul, was kidnapped alongside her 12-year-old twin sons in the Elewura-Challenge area of Ibadan South West Local Government.

The source explained that sustained intelligence tracking and tactical pressure forced the kidnappers into a confrontation with operatives, leading to the successful rescue of the victims.

Reports also noted that security operatives are still combing nearby areas for fleeing members of the kidnapping syndicate, some of whom are believed to have escaped with gunshot wounds.

Earlier on Friday, the executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde, during a sympathetic visit to Adelabu, assured that the victims will be rescued as soon as possible.
