Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, will on Monday, November 24, 2025, present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to the state House of Assembly for approval.
The Budget Estimate will be the seventh to be presented to the lawmakers since his emergence as the governor of the state in May 2019.
Recall that the state government had earlier held a series of Stakeholders’ Consultative and Engagement Meetings on the Budget across the seven zones of the state, with a view to engaging the people on their expectations for the 2026 appropriation Bill.
The development follows the conclusion of the Treasury Board Meeting on the Budget estimate by the state Executive Council, Ministries, Departments and Agencies, as the governor prepares to present it to the legislators next week.
