Ajimobi’s Ex-Aide, Alabi Charges Oyo APC Members On E-Registration

An ex-aide to the late former governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Community Relations and Mobility, lbrahim Alabi, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress in the state to ensure full participation in the ongoing e-registration programme, to enable them identify with the party and exercise their franchise in the 2027 general elections.

Alabi made the call in an exclusive interview with @infocorridor.ng, stressing the importance of the exercise, which he noted will validate their membership and give them the opportunity to vote for the party’s candidates in the coming elections.

Corroborating this in a post on the party’s social media platform, the grassroots politician urged them to take advantage of the program, in order to remain relevant in the party and its activities going forward.

“If you failed to be registered at the end of the E-regisration Exercise, you would have no cause to call yourself an APC leader, chieftain or member, even if your father co-founded Action Group (AG) with Chief Obafemi Awolowo or you sponsored the elections of Alh. Lam Adesina and Sen. Abiola Ajimobi in 1999 and 2011 respectively… Abuja and Oke-Ado will not reckon with non-members in the scheme of things during the forthcoming party primaries and after the 2027 general elections. Act wisely now!” Alabi stated.

He expressed optimism that the commitment of the party leaders in the state to come together as a team, as part of efforts to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic Party in 2027, will surely come to pass, urging them to sustain the unity and collaboration, even after the elections.
